Daming Food Street

Daming Food Street (达明美食街) reopened at the end of 2024 as a themed "Maritime Silk Road" food lane directly across from Sanfang Qixiang — and it's been the single biggest Xiaohongshu (小红书) upgrade to Fuzhou's night-eat scene since.

The street is split into three sections — Fujian, Taiwan and Southeast Asia — with stalls shaped like "fortune ships" (福船) echoing the old trade routes. You'll find: haoziyi oyster pancake, sesame mochi, Fuzhou fish balls, Taiwanese popcorn chicken, 19-yuan Hainan chicken rice, Thai milk tea, and the inevitable cheese-pull mango sticky rice. Most items 10–25 CNY.

Practical: open 17:00–23:00 nightly. Peak crowds 19:30–21:00 Fri–Sun. Come hungry, skip dinner. Metro Line 1 Dongjiekou Exit D, 5-minute walk. Cash rarely accepted — WeChat/Alipay only.
