2 Days in Wuyishan for Scenic Core and Tea

Two days in Wuyishan is enough if you stay near the south gate and don't waste the first afternoon on travel. The plan assumes arrival on day 0 evening and departure on day 2 evening.

Day 1 — Scenic core

• 07:30 — first shuttle to Tianyou Peak.
• 10:30 — Nine-Bend Stream bamboo raft (pre-book the 11:00 slot).
• 13:00 — lunch at Sangu.
• 14:30 — Da Hong Pao Scenic Area — gorge loop, Mother Trees.
• 19:30 — Impression Dahongpao show.

Day 2 — Tea and culture

Pick one:

• A — Working tea estate day (Wuyi Tea Estate Day). Full day in the cliff-plot valleys, lunch on the estate, roasting room, four-grade tasting.
• B — Xiamei Village morning + Sangu tea-shop afternoon. Xiamei is 6 km east of the city: the starting point of the Wanli Tea Road, 70+ Ming-Qing shophouses, an hour of slow walking. Afternoon browsing teahouses on Qilin Road.

Evening: HSR out (Wuyishan North to Fuzhou 1h30, Xiamen 3h).

What to skip on a 2-day plan: Yellow Mountain combos; 30-minute "tea stop" group tours; and the 1-day pass (buy 3-day at 220 CNY).
