Meiqi Student Street (梅岐学生街) is the night-market you go to when Sanfang Qixiang feels too curated. Wedged into the university town on Fuzhou's south side, it serves the student population first — which means real prices, no gimmicks, and the raw Fuzhou university-canteen energy that Xiaohongshu travel posts love but rarely feature.
Expect: long milk tea rows (tapioca, fruit, cheese foam), charcoal skewers (烧烤), guoqiao mixian rice noodles, fried rice, cold-skin noodles (凉皮), and the occasional hand-pulled Lanzhou shop. Most full meals 15–25 CNY.
Practical: busiest 19:00–23:00 Sun–Thu (term time). Saturdays slower — students go home. Skip July–August (summer break, most stalls shut). Metro Line 2 to Daxueyuan; 8-minute walk to the strip. Go casual.
